I was married by a marriage commisioner. There was no church, no prayer, no religion period. Yet my marriage is recognized in all 50 states, by the military, by the IRS, by international law, etc. No religious group is coming to me saying that I'm not married.

I missed one; Susan B. Anthony. Sorry Susie! Graduated in 1990, took the test in two minutes. History was always my best subject and I've always had an interest in it ever since. I do disagree with one gentleman from early on in this discussion.

Was it crazy to look at birds in flight and want to see the world from their perspective? Tell that to the Wright Brothers. Our world has opened up tremendously since the invention of the airplane. What used to take people days and weeks can be done in hours.

Wow..........Rick Santorum's true colors are coming out. If you believe something different from his interpretation of Christianity, then you're a phony. Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc....they're all "phony".

This is news worthy for the simple fact that for the first time gay service people could openly show their affection toward the people they cared about. There have been many, many pictures of wives and husbands who won the right to the first kiss.
